I had a great time visiting John Albert's English 102 class last night at College of the Canyons. As he warned, his students were prepared with some pretty insightful questions, and their own ideas about some of the elements in Ghost Medicine were very keen.Today, Sequoia Charter High School and running on empty with just a few hours of sleep.
I'll write more about the College of the Canyons discussion this weekend, but will say I was most impressed with how the students kept guiding the discussion back to this relationship between male characters/male literacy.
Maybe it was just me.
