all king horse

The Marbury Lens comes out on Tuesday.

Yesterday, someone asked me if I was excited.

I said no.

They said, really?

I said really.

They said, well, did you get excited when your first book came out?

I said no.

Sorry... Rogue Mutt, I accidentally deleted your "yeah sure..." comment. This is the consequence of inaccurate, caffeine-jolted fingers attempting to publish the content from an iPhone touchscreen

My apologies. If you resend, I will try to be calm and accurate with my pointer finger.

Well, *I* am excited. So I guess your readers can just be excited for you. :)

LOL. Well...I'M excited. I have heard SO many good things about MARBURY, so you can bet I'll be picking up a copy on the 9th (If I'm not able to buy one early at the SCIBA event on the 7th) :)

Well thank you Shannon and Tabitha. It's kind of a double-edged sword to me. I don't mean to sound deficient in enthusiasm by any means. It's just that I get terrified when people read what I write. I've always been that way, truly, and this book is in many ways even more personally terrifying to me. I usually sulk and go into hiding as much as possible around these times.

I was just saying I don't really buy it. I mean, I was excited the first time I saw my book on Amazon and it was self-published!

Actually I still get excited when I check to see how many Kindle copies have sold, because that means more money for me. Ca-ching!

I am excited because I like your blogging voice and I cannot wait to see what people are talking about.

"weird, disturbing, brilliant, whoa..."
